REGISTER HERE Our core program is Soccer Friends. Its is a free afterschool program we provide at local Elementary Schools. The idea of the program is that any child regardless of their race, gender, their socio-economic background, should be able to participate in organized sports. We focus on fostering creativity and engaging children, making their participation fun activity they are looking forward to. We teach children soccer skills and have them explore the application of those skills. We go beyond just teaching soccer skills. We teach children the importance of healthy lifestyles, excercise, fair play, hard work, responsibility, and respect. We believe that soccer as the world's most popular sport is a perfect tool for finding common language among children from many different cultures and backgrounds. We hope that children will create lifelong friendships, which will make them successful citizens and will strengthen our communities. In 2018 we started providing our program at Deterding Elementary and Schweitzer Elementary, and in 2019 we added Carmichael Elementary as our third school. At the end of the season the teams from each school battle for the trophy to be held for a year until the next Championship tournament.
