About us
California Soccer Foundation was established in 2018 by Karel Prochazka. Karel Prochazka arrived to Sacramento area from Czech republic in 2001. After coaching at various levels from competitive to recreational and also at various levels at high school programs, he realized that there are many children in the Sacramento area who would not be able to participate in organized sports, because the costs associated with participation are prohibitive for many children from lower socio-economic backgrounds or new immigrants coming this area.
We strive to provide free programs for children who wants to play soccer, find new friends, learn life skills such as hard work, fair play, responsibility, and respect. Our programs go beyond just playing soccer. We offer kids information about healthy lifestyles, proper nutrition and hydration, as well as importance of fitness and healthy habits.
We are 501(c) (3) organization and all your donations are tax deductible.
